INSTALLING FOR WINDOWS 95 ------------------------- If you received PhoneList on floppy disks, place disk number 1 in the floppy disk drive. Alternatively, if you received Phonelist as one of more compressed files, de-compress them to a temporary directory on your hard disk. Click on Start on the Win 95 Taskbar. Then click on Settings. Then click on Control Panel. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs Icon. This will load the "Add/Remove Programs Properties" dialog box. Click on the Install button. At this point Windows 95 will tell you to "Insert the product's first installation disk" Do this, and click the Next button. Win 95 will look in the floppy drives and CD-ROM for a setup disk. If you are installing from floppies, the dialog box will show the floppy drive name (a; or b:) and "SETUP.EXE. Click on "Finish". Otherwise, click on the "Browse" button, and use the Browse dialog box which comes up to find the disk and directory into which you have de-compressed the installation files. As soon as you have selected the correct directory, you will see "Setup.exe" in the "Browse" dialog box. Click on Setup.exe, and then on the "Open" button. You will now see the "Run Installation Program" box showing the full path name of the setup program. Click on "Finish". Phonelist will then automatically install. (end)
